What is a FULL MOON?
A full moon is an in-between phase, when the moon is behind Earth with respect to the sun and is fully illuminated. The moon starts as a new moon and continues to wane and wax until it reaches the striking full moon phase. From there, it continues to rotate and enters its old phase.

As the year comes to a close, the celestial stage is set for the final lunation of 2023 ... the December Cold Full Moon. Full moons are known for their action-forward energy, and this one, occurring on December 26, 2023, in the tenderhearted sign of Cancer ♋️, promises to be emotionally charged. With Cancer's influence over emotions, desires, and spirituality, this lunation invites us to delve into the supernatural and connect with our intuition.
WHAT IS MEDITATION?
Meditation is a spiritual practice that has gained immense popularity across the world with its existence dating back centuries. Often the practice, simply involves just closing your eyes and experiencing the joys that unfold – relaxation of the mind and body and a boost in physical and mental energy that knows no bounds.
WHAT IS CHANTING?
Chanting is a rhythmical repetition (either silently or aloud) of a song, prayer, word or sound. It is one of the most ancient spiritual practices and a part of most religions and spiritual paths. According to the Indian yoga tradition, sound is healing and sacred, and it's believed that sound is one of the most powerful forces.
Chanting during a yoga practice deepens the concentration and devotion, calms the mind and improves the awareness.
Chanting opens the heart; stills, focuses and calms the mind; and offers the benefits of a meditation, without the struggle or the striving to concentrate.
Chanting Sanskrit mantras is effective for one’s consciousness. It stimulates the chakras, providing a calming, cleansing and energizing effect. Each Sanskrit letter is represented by a sound that is associated with a specific chakra in the body.
Tonight we will chant a specific mantra in Sanskrit 108 times. The belief is when words are repeated 108 times they will come true.
